THE FORMULA
Exfoliation goes wrong in two directions — too gentle and nothing
happens, too aggressive and you damage the barrier you were trying to
improve. This formula sits deliberately between the two, and lets you
choose the intensity by choosing how long you leave it on.
LEMON (Citrus limon) · 2%
Citric acid — a naturally occurring AHA that loosens dead surface
cells and supports a brighter, more even finish.
THYME (Thymus serpyllum) · 2%
Thymol, a well-documented purifying botanical. Helps keep congested
skin clear between treatments.
BLACKBERRY (Morus indica) · 2%
Fruit acids and antioxidant polyphenols working alongside the
citrus AHAs.
JAMAICAN SORREL / ROSELLE (Hibiscus sabdariffa) · 1.5%
One of the richest natural sources of alpha-hydroxy acids.
INDIAN LABURNUM (Cassia fistula) · 1.5%
A traditional Ayurvedic bark extract used to soothe and condition
skin through exfoliation.
CURCUMIN (Curcuma longa) · 1%
The active fraction of turmeric. Its calming and brightening
properties are why turmeric has been part of Indian skincare ritual
for three thousand years — and why it is now one of the most-published
botanicals in the dermatological literature.
HOW TO USE – TWICE WEEKLY, EVENING
AS A SCRUB — Apply a thin layer to cleansed, damp skin. Massage in
slow circles for sixty seconds. Rinse.
AS A MASK — Apply generously to cleansed face and neck. Leave for
ten minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Always follow with Recover Night Cream.
Twice a week is enough. More is not better.
